Frequently asked questions
1. I already have your software. How do I download the new version that supports NPI?
Go into the form, click Help menu, scroll down to Check For New Version. For HCFA-1500 users, this will download the new HCFA NPI version. For UB-92 users, this will download the new UB-04 software.
2. My computer crashed and I need to reinstall. Or I was able to reinstall the software, but can't find my registration code. PLEASE STORE THIS REGISTRATION CODE IN A SECURE PLACE!! UB-04 Software can only store this information for up to 90 days following date of purchase.
Please e-mail support@ub-92software.com with "Reinstall" as the subject. Provide all the information you can about the original order so we can look it up (order number would be best). We will reply in less than 24 hours with your receipt link, which contains all the information you need to download and register the software. You should print a copy of the receipt for future reference.
3. Can I make a template to avoid re-typing common fields like provider address and federal tax number on every form?
The software will automatically do this, but only for address and tax ID fields. If you need more, type all of that data into a blank form. Save it to your Desktop as Template. From now on, when you want to begin a new form double click Template.
